He served in the Lancaster County Militia of the Continental Forces during the Revolutionary War. He married 13 May 1764 in Breunigweiler, Palatinate, Germany, Anna Apolonia Degen, born 12 Jan 1746 in Sipperfeld, Palatinate, Germany, died 1796 in Enders, PA.

John Philip Enders, [1-2] born 26 April 1766 in Germantown, PA, died 24 October 1796 in Enders, PA, buried in the family plot, now known as the Enders Memorial, Enders, PA, occupation farmer and sawmill worker. Standing 6'4", he was known as Big Philip. When he died his three children were raised by his brothers. He married Elizabeth ?.

18.iiiJohn Enders, [1-2-3] born 25 Aug 1792 in Jackson Township, Dauphin County, PA. He left home at an early age and was never heard from again.
4. Margaret Eva Enders, [1-3] born 21 Apr 1768 in Warwick Township, Lancaster County, PA, died about 1792, buried in the family plot, now known as the Enders Memorial, Enders, PA. Old Dauphin County history records state that Margaret Eva died in infancy but a family record written in German by Philip Christian Enders states otherwise. She died giving birth to her second child. She married ? Spangler.

20.iiJohn Henry Spangler, [1-3-2] born 20 Jul 1792 in Enders, PA, buried in the family plot, now known as the Enders Memorial, Enders, PA. He died at birth or soon after, along with his mother.
5. Ann Elizabeth Enders, [1-4] born 15 Dec 1769 in Warwick Township, Lancaster County, PA, died 1848 in Olden Tansy, Crawford County, OH, buried in Campbell's Graveyard, near Olden Tansy, OH. She married (1) Adam Greegor, buried in Cumberland County, PA, occupation tailor. She married (2) John Shoener, occupation clock maker.

He married 1801, Elizabeth Crumbein, born 3 Feb 1783, died 31 Oct 1863 in Enders, PA, buried in Fetterhoff's Cemetery, near Fisherville, PA.

John George Enders, [1-7] born 11 Mar 1774 in Warwick Township, Lancaster County, PA, died 15 Jun 1835 in Enders, PA, buried in Fetterhoff's Cemetery, near Fisherville, PA, occupation farmer and distiller. He was the owner of 600 acres of land. He married Catherine Bowman, born 12 Nov 1778, died 12 Nov 1833 in Enders, PA, buried in Fetterhoff's Cemetery, near Fisherville, PA.

He owned and drove an old black horse, hiring out to anyone in the township who would provide food and shelter for both of them. He married Julia Shartzer.
10. Margaret Martha Enders, [1-9] born 24 July 1777 in Warwick Township, Lancaster County, PA, died 29 March 1864 in Mt. Vernon, OH, buried in St. Johns Church Cemetery, Mt. Vernon, OH. She married about 1801 in Manheim, PA, Isaac Baughman, born 1 Jul 1776 in Cumberland County, PA, (son of Henry Baughman) died 25 Jul 1869, buried beside his wife, occupation miller. Margaret and Isaac lived in Strasburg, PA, until 1848 when they moved to Knox County, OH and Mt. Vernon, Ohio.

Peter was the widower of Margaret Clippenger of Lancaster, PA. Peter and Margaret had two children: Elizabeth born 1832 and Jane born 1834.

11. Christina Jane Enders, [1-10] born 1 Jul 1779 in Warwick Township, Lancaster County, PA, died 24 Nov 1851 in Buchanan County, MO, buried in Buchanan County, MO. She married John Miller, born 14 Mar 1778, died 13 Aug 1849, buried in Bethel Cemetery, Halifax Township, Dauphin Co, PA, occupation farmer. Shortly after 1849 Christina went to Missouri to visit her daughter and died there. She is supposedly buried in the Davis Chapel Cemetery in Dearborn but no grave marker can be found.

13. Catherine Enders, [1-12] born 25 March 1783 in Warwick Township, Lancaster County, PA, died 28 November 1844 in Bellville, OH, buried Bellville, OH. She married Jacob Peter Phillips , born 8 May 1781 in Cumberland County, PA, (son of Jacob Phillips and Mary ?) died 5 Oct 1860 in Mechanicsburg, PA, buried in Trindle Springs Cemetery near Mechanicsburg, PA, occupation farmer and carpenter. Jacob's parents were immigrants from Germany. About 1823 Jacob built the Trindle Springs Lutheran and Reformed Church. He served in the War of 1812 with Captain George Hendel's Company, 5th Regiment of Pennsylvania Volunteers. He was promoted from private to second lieutenant.

Sarah was a widow with two children.

15. John Conrad Enders, [1-14] born 18 Mar 1788 in Warwick Township, Lancaster County, PA, died 5 Dec 1874 in Enders, PA, occupation farmer and lumberman, buried in Fetterhoff's Church Cemetery near Fisherville, PA. John was a township office holder in Jackson Township, Dauphin Co, PA. for many years. He opened the first public road leading from Halifax, via Fisherville, to Elizabethville, PA. This road was a link of the stage route from Harrisburg, via Gratz, to Pottsville, PA. He married Elizabeth Whitman, born 25 Apr 1794 in Enders, PA, (daughter of Bartholomew Whitman) died 20 Sep 1869 in Enders, PA, buried in Fetterhoff's Church Cemetery near Fisherville, PA. She was the third child in a family of nine. Her father was born in Berks County, PA, in 1765 and died in Jackson Township, Dauphin County, PA, in 1831. Her grandfather was George Adam Whitman, who came from Germany in 1753. The original name was Wittman.
